Dear friends Malawi has been declared a disaster country due to the torrential flooding. People are misplaced and homes are ruined. Food is scarce. Here is a text I received from my friend Biziwick this morning, “My friend it is a great misery here at the Chicken Pen all affected adults and children camped in the chicken pen building as has come to be a stronger structure before some were moved to a nearby Government School but some are still sleeping in the Chicken Pen with the birds The sad pictures taken will definately make you cry My friend we are housing chicken and people together WE STILL NEED URGENT FOOD AND CLOTHES RIGHT NOW NOW BEFORE THE LONG AWAITED MISSION TRIP ONE LADY HAS AMAZED MY VISIT AS HER HOUSE WAS FALLING SHWWE ONLY MANAGED TO RUN AWAY TO THE PEN WITH THE BIBLE WE GAVE HER Cant wait. ”
Please pray for them!! And if you can spare even a small amount to help that would be greatly appreciated. I am returning to Blantyre April 17th. It would be awesome if we could also raise some money to help rebuild or build new homes! Please prayerfully consider partnering with us during a great time of need!
