This is a letter from Biziwick and Violet along with some pictures.

My Friends in Christ,

The people you see on all pictures are highly hit and displaced by the worst rains we are experiencing. Some of them are sleeping in the chicken pen with chicken after the fall of their houses which worst of all fall on their belongings which involved food items, clothes and bedding. A number of them have been evacuated to a nearby school.

The great need is food and clothing. Please widen this appeal to come in with whatever the Lord speaks to this tragic moment. Children cannot even go to school without clothing and empty stomachs.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Dear friends Malawi has been declared a disaster country due to the torrential flooding. People are misplaced and homes are ruined. Food is scarce. Here is a text I received from my friend Biziwick this morning, “My friend it is a great misery here at the Chicken Pen all affected adults and children camped in the chicken pen building as has come to be a stronger structure before some were moved to a nearby Government School but some are still sleeping in the Chicken Pen with the birds The sad pictures taken will definately make you cry My friend we are housing chicken and people together WE STILL NEED URGENT FOOD AND CLOTHES RIGHT NOW NOW BEFORE THE LONG AWAITED MISSION TRIP ONE LADY HAS AMAZED MY VISIT AS HER HOUSE WAS FALLING SHWWE ONLY MANAGED TO RUN AWAY TO THE PEN WITH THE BIBLE WE GAVE HER Cant wait. ”
Please pray for them!! And if you can spare even a small amount to help that would be greatly appreciated. I am returning to Blantyre April 17th. It would be awesome if we could also raise some money to help rebuild or build new homes! Please prayerfully consider partnering with us during a great time of need! I will post some pictures as I receive them.

The preschool at Northway church is raising money for FWM to purchase some chickens for the Future Care center(FCC). Through the purchase of these chickens, FCC can make money to help support the school. We will be purchasing layers so that we can make money off of the eggs we sell. You can help support the kids efforts by donating loose change from your car, sofa cushion, or piggy bank to one of these sweet children. Here are a couple of pictures from 2013 Change for Chickens!

The land is cleared and everyone has been working so hard. We are in the process of making bricks for building. We are calculating the cost of making bricks verses buying them. We are excited about the progress being made. We have decided to build a church first so that everyone knows how this work is being completed..not by our own efforts! Thank you for your prayers and support!

We have water! A huge accomplishment and invaluable asset!

Busy making bricks for our first building…a church!

We have just purchased some land to start construction! Currently FCC school is operating at Bangwe Baptist Church in Blantyre and we are so thankful for their generosity. However, the time has come for us to expand. The land is still located in Blantyre, so we are able to provide services to the same children. We plan to build a school, a chapel, a home, and a place for the elderly. Once we establish independently, we will be eligible to receive assistance for the food program for the children and other things. This process may take us up to 5 years. God has provided the land for us, we are confident He will provide everything that will go on the land. Biziwick and some volunteers have started clearing the land. The first item we are in need of is a well which is about $375 and will provide much needed water for making bricks and building.
“The Lord said to Abram after Lot departed from him, ‘Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breath of the land, for I am giving it to you.” Gen. 13:14-17
